യു.എ.ഇ.യിലെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ അംബാസഡറുടെ പ്രസ്താവനയ്ക്കെതിരെ വിവിധ മലയാളി സംഘടനകള്‍ രംഗത്തെത്തി. മലയാളികളില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗത്തിനും ഒന്നില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പാസ് പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് അംബാസഡര്‍ തല്‍മീസ് അഹമ്മദ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ദിന പത്രത്തിന് അനുവദിച്ച അഭിമുഖത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്. അംബാസഡറുടെ ഈ പ്രസ്താവനയാണ് മലയാളി സംഘടനകളെ ചൊടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഈ അഭിപ്രായം പ്രവാസി മലയാളികളെ അപമാനിക്കു ന്നതിന് തുല്യമാണെന്നും വിഭാഗീയത കാണിക്കുന്ന അംബാസഡറെ തിരിച്ചു വിളിക്കണമെന്നും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഓവര്‍സീസ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് യു.എ.ഇ. കമ്മിറ്റി ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി പുന്നക്കന്‍ മുഹമ്മദലി പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
യു.എ.ഇ.യ്ക്ക് ഭീഷണി ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന വ്യാജ പാസ് പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ ക്കെതിരെ കേരള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിരുത്തരവാദ പരമായ സമീപനമാണ് വെച്ചു പുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന തെങ്കില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാറിനോട് നേരിട്ട് എമിഗ്രേഷന്‍ ക്ലിയറന്‍സ് ഏറ്റെടുക്കാന്‍ അംബാസഡര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുകയാണ് ആദ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതെന്നും അല്ലാതെ മലയാളികളെ ആക്ഷേപിക്കുകയല്ല വേണ്ടതെന്നും വിവിധ സംഘടനകള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

He is not suitable for the position. If he is showing partiality in front of officials and media, he will do more against Keralites. He done the same while his tenure in Oman. He thinks that Kerala is not a part of India. He, himself only against Kerala & Keralites. Indian Government should call back this person from UAE.
